Singapore Travel Guide
Are you looking for a tourist guide to Singapore a Singapore visitors guide or even a Singapore trip guide? Once a lazy backwater with a seedy waterfront, today Singapore is a Modern City State...
My husband went to music school and has always loved music. He plays the guitar pretty well and was even in a band in high school. This year, we have decided to make plans to attend a music festival. Now I am not talking Coachella or anything. We are much too chill for that festival. I mean SXSW (this would have to be next year) or some other type of festival that we find interesting.
Of course, we need this year's top musical gear. Here are our top Music Festival Must Haves:
The Solargopack Solar Powered Backpack is both stylish and durable. There is an included solar panel that can be used to charge any of your electronic and/or mobile devices. In fact, you can charge several cell phones quickly. The Solargopack lets you take your power with you. Any festival, sporting event, school, travel and more.
Features:
The DROID Turbo Sapphire Blue by Motorola offers the sharpest display, the most powerful processor and a 48-hour battery. The DROID Turbo Sapphire Blue by Motorola is all about power and performance. It is scratch-resistant and water-repellant as it was originally developed for military use.
Did you know that you could go two full days without stopping to recharge with the largest smartphone battery?
In fact, you can get 8 hours of power in just 15 minutes with the Motorola Turbo Charger. The water-repellent nano-coating and Corning Gorilla Glass help protect the device from spills and scratches. Premium ballistic nylon (five times stronger than metal) backs offer rich blue color and texture but remains lightweight and feels great in your hands.
The Bushnell H2O Waterproof/Fogproof Roof Prism Binocular is one of the best purchases we have ever made and we take it everywhere. If you are into people watching or really anything, binoculars can make your festival going experience soooo much more fun. We watch the musicians as well.
Make certain to get yourself a strap as well.
We have an very old Camelback that we use constantly and love. In fact, we own about three of them and want to buy two more. We use them for everything. Biking, sporting events, camping, festivals, really anywhere we can where we will be walking for long periods of time. I like to stay hydrated so this would be my new pick. The CamelBak Thermobak 3 L Hydration Pack holds 100 ounces, is highly rated and looks rugged. I can use it at a music festival and my son could still go biking with it. I always love something with multiple purposes.
I have met the folks from Etymotic twice at different events in the past several years. They gave me a pair of earbuds that are my absolute favorite to this day. For a festival, I would find something like the Etymotic Research ER20 ETY-Plugs Hearing Protection Earplugs. Trust me, there will be times that you need them. Many years ago I was too close to the speakers at a Dave Mathews concert. I was feeling good and didn't worry about standing too close to the speakers. My hearing was muffled for a few days after that. In fact grab a few pairs and maybe give one to someone as a random act of kindness. It's all about peace and love, you know. 😉
I was selected for this opportunity as a member of Clever Girls and the content and opinions expressed here are all my own.
I can think of so many uses for the camelback hydration pack. I’ll have to get one of those as soon as I can!
Yes, this is everything you will need. I can’t wait to attend all of these festivals.
I have never been to a music festival! Heaps of my friends have! So will share your post today highlighting some great items!
What a great list of festival essentials! The camelbak is such a great idea since hydration is always an issue. The binoculars look very useful as well.
What great products for a music festival! I love the binoculars too, I could use them on the beach, so much to see, lots of beautiful birds!
I’ve been to a few music festivals over the years, and I’m going to another one this summer. I can’t wait! This is a really great list of things to bring – though this year will be little different because it’s a weekend long festival and we’re camping there.
Both back packs look like they would come in handy. I have never been to a music festival but I would love to!
What a nifty backpack! That would be terrific to take to a theme park, when you know you’re going to be snapping all kinds of pics with your phone/camera, just knowing you could charge it at any given moment. And that Camelback is amazing too! Sounds perfect for a long bike ride!
This is a great list of essentials that everyone should check out, its not only a good list for a festival but also for other events that require walking and prepping.
These are all great suggestions for items to take to a festival. I never thought to take a camelbak which could save you money in the long run as well.
This is an awesome list to have, I especially like the Solargopack Solar Powered Backpack and the Bushnell Binoculars-100% waterproof (wow).
That Camelbak Hydration Pack is genius for music festivals! This would be great for Music Midtown this year.
